Geography is concerned primarily with the study of places, the physical and human processes which shape them and the people who live in them. It deals with questions such as "Where is this place?", "How did it get to be like this?", "What is going on in this place and why?" and "How does this place compare with other places?" Each child will study local and distant places in their work in geography, and field trips are regularly undertaken.
Geography will be integrated with Global Citizenship areas, including sustainable development, to make children aware of the wider world and have a sense of their own role and responsibilities as a world citizen.
