Christmas Jumper Day
We had a very special visitor come to Nursery. He told the children that they had all been good and gave them each a little present.
We went on a walk to the post box to post our letters to Santa. We were all so excited when we got a reply! He told us that he and his elves are working very hard in the workshop making the toys in time for Christmas Eve!
Thank you for all your donations for 'Tameside Toy Appeal'.
Beautiful Angels and Fantastic Shepherds. The boys and girls did amazingly! We are so proud :)
Christmas has officially arrived in Nursery and we are all very excited! The boys and girls helped to put the baubles on the tree and we all counted down from 10 for the 'grand' light switch on.
The children have also been enjoying all the different Christmas activities, dressing up is one of the favourites.
We had a busy last week doing lots of Halloween activities! Mrs Hallworth came in to make Halloween cupcakes with us and to end the week we had a 'spooktacular' party where we made Halloween themed snack and showed off our best dance moves!
We have also been learning about Autumn and the changes that take place. We made hats using different coloured autumn leaves.
This half term our topic has been 'Rosie's walk'. The children have really enjoyed reading this book and carrying out different activities relating to the story including going on a chicken hunt for Rosie and her chick!
Red Nose Day
We raised a fantastic £320.20 for Comic Relief. Thank you for all your donations!
Stay and Play
We all had a lovely time doing Valentines activities. The children loved having their grown ups staying for the session.
A Present For The Baby
Christmas Jumper Day
We all had a great time at our Halloween party. We all helped to make sandwiches to go with our party snack. We also played party games such as pass the parcel and musical statues. It was 'Spookatacular'
This half term our topic has been 'Rosie's walk'. The children have really enjoyed reading this book and carrying out different activities relating to the story. We even had a special visit off Rosie and she told us lots of facts about chickens.
